FAQ
Why cannot I get a doctor's appointment on the same day?
We always meet the needs of the patient; therefore, if possible, we make an appointment with the doctor without further delay. However, we also respect patients who have booked a visit in advance. In any case, feel free to call us and check the current schedule with the receptionist.
What fillings do we offer our patients?
We want to make long-term, reliable restorations for Dentamed patients. For that reason, we use high-class composite materials from manufacturers with strict quality and safety criteria. In our arsenal, there are light-cured polymers of different compositions and strengths. What material the doctor uses depends on the condition of the patient’s teeth.
How do I know how much my cavities treatment will cost in the end?
Each case is different. Depending on the “depth of the affected cavity” and the volume of the affected surfaces, we distinguish between superficial, medium, and deep caries. Each type of caries requires a specific treatment. The doctor will tell you the exact cost and treatment plan after the examination. Consultation cost – 100 UAH.
What is included in the cost of root canal treatment?
The final cost of treatment includes root canal filling, use of a dental microscope, full compliance with the protocols of irrigation and mechanical treatment, electronic canal length determination, volumetric analysis of canal filling, temporary or permanent filling.
Does one tooth contain one root canal?
No, it all depends on the tooth and physiological features of the person. Usually, the front teeth have 1-2 root canals, and the posterior teeth have 3-4 canals. However, there are cases when there can be up to seven canals in a tooth.
Is it possible to treat a root canal without a microscope?
It is possible, but the quality of work will decrease sharply. The development of modern technologies has allowed doctors to treat teeth as painlessly and qualitatively as possible. For example, a dental microscope provides up to 40x magnification, which ensures that all root structures are detected.
Why do I need endodontic treatment?
Endodontic treatment is a complex step-by-step process that requires a highly qualified doctor. Trauma, deep secondary caries, poor-quality or outdated restorations, insufficiently carefully sealed root canals in pre-treatment can cause infection in root canals of a tooth. The endodontist can also solve the problem of sealing narrow or curved root canals insufficiently carefully sealed in pre-treatment.
