It is very important to show the kids that the dentist is a friend. This is what will become the key to a healthy children’s smile. We have an individual approach to each little patient and a variety of painless treatment techniques: treatment of primary teeth in sedation (in sleep), restoration of primary teeth and much more.

FAQ

Are parents allowed back with their children during dental visits?

Yes, of course. If the baby is very young (primary teeth) and very anxious, it can even sit in the arms of one of the parents. This will help the baby feel more confident.

My child is afraid of the dentist. But it is necessary to treat teeth. What are the solutions?

Indeed, there are many situations when a child was afraid of the sound of a drill or had a negative experience, so it is afraid to treat its teeth. In this case, we suggest the use of sedation – medical sleep. It is quite safe and suitable for the treatment of several teeth at once.

Why do primary teeth need to be treated? Aren't they going to fall out anyway?

Dental health, even primary teeth, is extremely important for the body as a whole. First, an infection that contributes to caries causes inflammation in the body. Secondly, without primary teeth treatment, the child will face a bad bite in the future, and this means plates, braces, and unnecessary costs that could have been avoided.

When Should a Child See a Dentist for the First Time?

We recommend not delaying the first dental visit and making an appointment with a pediatric dentist as early as 1.5-2 years old, when the first teeth appeared.  Make the first appointments preventive to introduce the baby to the dentist and show the office. Then the doctor will not be associated with pain and discomfort.

Do primary teeth have nerves?

Yes, primary teeth do have nerves. Primary teeth are anatomically identical to permanent teeth. There is a nerve in the root of the primary teeth, which must also be treated if necessary.

Are dental X-rays safe for children?

Yes, they are completely safe. Modern X-rays have a function of children’s radiation dose, which does not exceed the performance of a conventional smartphone.
