X-ray diagnostics
One of the most important stages of dental examination and treatment is accurate diagnostics. In our work, we use only the latest world-class X-ray machines, which are completely safe not only for adults but also for children.
FAQ
What type of X-rays diagnostic do we do?
Among the most popular are orthopantomogram (OPT, Panoramic image of the jaws) and CT (computed tomography). We use the Japanese tomograph of the latest generation Veraview X800 from the Japanese company Morita, which allows you to get maximum image quality at a reduced radiation dose.
What is the difference between a OPT and a CT?
An orthopantomogram (OPT) is a 2D image, while computed tomography (CT) is a 3D image that can be rotated and viewed from different angles. In some cases, only a panoramic image is enough, but to obtain a complete and reliable diagnosis of both jaws CT should be taken.
How long does the X-ray diagnostics last and when I can get results?
All diagnostics will not take more than 10 minutes, and you can get results a few minutes after. We give the OPT and all 2D examinations in a printed format and on a disk, we record the CT and other 3D images on a disk. If necessary, we also send the X-rays by e-mail.
What is the X-ray center's work schedule?
We work according to the following schedule: Mon-Fri – from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM Sat – from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sun – closed.
Do we take an X-ray of one tooth?
Of course we do. This can be a periapical X-ray on a film, visiography – a digital picture of 1 or 2 teeth, which is displayed on the computer screen or for a more informative diagnosis – segment CT.
