Oral and Maxillofacial Diagnostic

Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a special type of x-ray equipment. It is an integral part of modern dental diagnostics radiology.

🛰 This is an informative way to see the features of the jaw structure, dentition, as well as to identify pathological processes. Previously, X-rays were used for this purpose, but now there is a CT.

🙌 The study is performed by a special X-ray device – Morita dental tomograph, which combines many flat 2D images reproduced in different planes into one. This results in a 3D image of the object.

👀 Outstanding image quality for panoramic, 3D, and cephalometric images ensures a precise and reliable diagnosis even in the most demanding cases.

The quality of our x-rays is extremely high. Since our dental tomograph provide a digital examination, the radiation exposure is very small, ten times lower than the exposure from conventional X-ray film tomographs.

🔥 By the way, another advantage of this study is its speed. The whole procedure lasts no more than a minute, and you get the results 7 minutes after the procedure.

Once the procedure is complete, the resulting 3D image is recorded on a disc with universal software that can be automatically installed on the doctor’s computer for further diagnosis.
