Do I really need to replace my missing tooth?

Admit it, how long have you been living without a tooth? Weeks, months or even years?

🙌 Given the fact that the duration of dentition defects in many patients is measured for years (whether it is the absence of one or more teeth), it is not entirely correct to say: “implantation is a long – term treatment.”

✔️ Let’s take a closer look at the situation.

✔️ The implant surgery takes about 20-30 minutes. Once the implant is placed in your jawbone, osseointegration begins. It usually takes from 3 to 6 months.

✔️ When osseointegration is complete, you need to place the abutment and then dental implant crown. Duration of this stage is about 2 weeks.

🌚 For many of us, the main obstacle before implantation is a psychological barrier.

Implant placement has long ceased to belong to the “painful procedures” category, so you should not be afraid at all!

🌷 The implant not only supports the crown, but also performs a number of other important functions by keeping the bone toned. Therefore, implantation is called the only method of full-fledged restoration of edentulous and partly edentulous jaws: it copies the mechanism that was designed by nature.
